Introduction
Ok, so we've all seen Procom's Magic Power Box right? countless questions floating around the internet on if this box really works? Does this box really have magic to help free up some horsepower in that rhino of yours? Were going to tell you! Fortunate for us we had the opportunity to install one of these on our Project "Rhino" and this is what we thought.

Installing
The installation as you can tell is a breeze, the positive wire (red) coming out of the Magic Box attaches to the positive (+) battery terminal, next the negative wire (black) also coming out of the Magic Box attaches to the negative (-) battery terminal. When the unit has been installed properly the light on the side flashes from green to red. Next we had to secure this box, we pealed the double sided tape off the back and stuck it directly onto our battery. With a limited amount of locations to mount one of these units in a rhino we figured it would best off in a some what protecting environment with the battery. Procom says there weatherproof but recommends mounting them in a safer area away from to much weathering.
Final Thoughts
After installing the Magic Box on our rhino we took it out for a test drive. We drove it around for while. Actually we drove it around for quite some time trying to tell if we noticed any power gains or change in power characteristics. We did countless test from 0 to top speed, middle power range to full throttle, etc. What we eventually came up with was this. The "Magic Box" might have provided our plug with a little more spark and optimized our Rhino's electrical system but the changes weren't very noticeable. Actually im still questioning the power gain still...? I mean its safe to say the Rhino was running a hair bit crispier but small changes like this can be hard to pin point without Dyno results. We plan to do some more testing and possibly talk with the folks down at Procom do see about obtaining some Dyno'd power gains to add to this article. For more information contact Procom Engineering.
