Dubach Racing Rhino 660 UTV Exhaust (slip-on)

Product Overview:
Wi
th all the new suspension changes this month we had to add a little performance mod to let our 660 flow a little better. The stock exhaust was too quiet and always made me feel like the old days when we drove golf carts like maniacs across the fairways and sand traps. Yea those were good times but our Rhino needed to roar a little while were cruisin through the trails or dunes. I wanted to hear that big 660cc 4-stroke thumpin, Nothing sounds better than a good sounding four stroke. We decided on the Dr.D pipe for our Rhino. The folks down at Dubach Racing offer a nice slip on exhaust system for the rhino 660 & 450 models. The slip-on exhaust is supposed to allow free up a few pony's in addition to the new performance sound. In addition to the pipe we also installed there optional silencer to our Rhino's exhaust to keep the db levels lower if possible. If a "quad" sounding exhaust is what you want this kit is the one. At first it reminded me of a XR600 with a supertrapp and then later changed tone a little louder as the exhaust "broke in". Its definitely not sounding like a golf cart now...

Installating the new exhaust
The installation was a little tricky at first. The stock exhaust was to big and was fighting with us trying to extract it. After finally removing the header pipe we eventually conquered the stock rhino's bulky exhaust that didn't want to be replaced. Needless to say we got the stocker out and started installing the new Dr.D pipe. Using a combination of supplied mounting brackets and factory pipe clamps the new Dr.D pipe was mounted in about 1-hour. See pictures below.

Conclusion:
After a few rides we noticed the original exhaust tone changed as the muffler must have broke in. It sounds pretty similar just a little louder than when we first installed it. As far as performance noticed... It felt a little crisper than before with a little more torque off the line. For more information contact Dubach Racing Development.

Update: - Dubach Racing just informed us that this muffler should be re-packed about every 20hrs for optimum performance and sound. (maybe that's why we noticed an increase in sound after a couple weeks.
