PRESS RELEASE

Solid Axle Introduces there new 14-Bolt Full Floating 5 & 6 Lug Hubs

INTRO
We almost went with these hubs on our 14-bolt 1-Ton axle swap. Glad to see there now available. We would have been able to retain the 6 lug wheels we had but availability and axle width were deciding factors. I wanted the DRW (63.5") width for streetability on this Jeep. The Solid hubs do however narrow the track width by 2.25 inches. I suspect that means the new WMS (wheel mounting surface) would be 64.75" WMS from its original single rear wheel width of 67" WMS.

Price $400.00 pair

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The 14 bolt hubs were designed and manufactured with input from customers and dealers to design the GM 14 bolt hubs with an improved wheel flange offset, to not only convert to 5 or 6 lug patterns, but to also narrow overall axle width by 2.25 inches.

Features
• Wheel hubs designed for strength and durability.
• Hubs are CNC machined from a forging.
• Not a cast piece like all other competitors.
• Utilizes standard components (studs, bearings, seals) readily available at local parts stores.
• These are manufactured by Solid Axle Industries and are not weak remanufactured OEM Hubs.

Benefits
• Fits GM 14 bolt spindles
• Replaces cast units
• Converts to 5 on 5.5" or 6 on 5.5" wheel pattern
• Reduces axle build cost by eliminating the need to shorten housing.

Note: Axle shaft flange must be turned to fit the wheel over the shaft flange.
