Rhino Magnum Shifter
"More Bling for Project Rhino" |
Introduction
Check out this new aluminum shifter from CCM Rod Shop called the "Billet Magnum shifter"! Great little shifter that has a nice hand grip that molds to your fingers. Machined from a solid piece of 6061 aluminum and polished to a nice mirror finish. Even features the Rhino's factory shift pattern milled into the top. (see picture below)

Quick Install
Installing this shifter takes about 1 minute but sure adds a nice touch. If your not familiar with removing the factory shifter heres the low down. On the passenger side there is a plastic barbed insert that retains the shifter from pulling off a steel shaft. Thats all that holds the factory shifter in place. In order to remove this insert I find its easy to remove with a set of dikes, sliding them between the shifter and lip of the plastic clip. Carefull not to climp down or you might cut it. The CCM Shifter simply slides over the stock shaft and is secured with an allen head set screw instead.

Conclusion
Great looking shifter were happy to add to our Project Rhino. The shifter has a nice grip feel and adds a custom finish that really looks good with the rest of our billet accessories.
