Rhino 660cc Reworked Carburetor

Introduction:
If your looking for a little more power out of your Rhino after performing the popular CDI, Intake, Exhaust and other considerably reliable engine mods than you might want to consider Alba's reworked carburetor. The work Alba does on your carburetor won't sacrifice any reliability yet it will sure as hell open up your 660 a little more. I wish I could explain to you what exactly they do to these carb's when there sent in for the "reworking". I can however tell you that ours looked bored out when it returned. (See picture below) Alba does infact bore the carb out from a 42mm to a 44mm along with a new butterfly. Short of that I can only assume Alba has a few tricks or adjustments they make internally that there sure as hell not going to reveal. Then again maybe not, None the less whatever it is there doing sure does work. After reinstalling our Rhino carb it seemed noticeably more powerful throughout the power curve. I have yet to have noticed any faulty characteristics with this carb. Our Rhino still runs strong and good as ever, now just with a little more pep.

Add Two to Three More Horsepower
Alba will rework your stock carb to add 2 to 3 more H.P. We tested other carbs and none of them worked as well as modifying the stocker. We take it from 42mm to 44mm by boring it and adding a new butterfly. You will have more linear power and more reliability than any other carb on the market. The best thing is that this is a relatively inexpensive way to add power. Compare $215 to buying a complete new carb for around $500. And it will still run with any of our modified motors! There won’t be any need to spend more $ as you upgrade your motor.

Note: To take advantage of this great mod, you will have to send us your stock Carburetor.

One more shot

Conclusion:
As a result of installing this carburetor after being tweaked by Alba our Rhino seems to have gained a few miles per hour top speed. The 2-3 more horsepower claimed in there ad is reasonably accurate id say. A lot of companies fluff there hp gains but I think Alba is being fair by claiming 2-3hp. If I had a Dyno to test the before and after I would but our access to a dyno is quite a distance away. In addition to the noticeable gain in power throughout the power curve we suffered no noticeable or measurable difference in fuel consumption.

In conclusion, if you've done the basic mods like I mentioned above and yet your still looking for a little more power. Id consider sending your carb in to Alba for the "reworking". For just over $200 bucks this mod is really your next best thing before considering a 686, 720 or larger big bore kit. If however you are running a big bore kit than this carb mod should be a must have in order to get the true results from your new displacement.
